About the Experience
The Canadian Culinary Championship returns to Ottawa on January 29–30, 2027 with an All-Star Invitational organized by Canada's Great Kitchen Party. Twenty chefs compete as two-person city teams and as larger East and West teams across three culinary challenges.
The programme combines live competition with opportunities to taste the chefs' creations. Guests can choose individual sessions or a multi-event package through the organizer.

Mystery Wine Competition — Friday, January 29

Chefs create dishes to pair with a mystery wine using local ingredients, limited preparation time and a set budget. The reception includes tastings of the dishes and wine, with additional Canadian wines, craft beer, cocktails and artisanal bites. The organizer states that food and beverages are included for this session.
Black Box Competition — Saturday, January 30
La Cité College · 8:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Watch chefs work with surprise ingredients in an immersive theatre. Each team has one hour to prepare and plate two dishes for the judges. The programme also includes food stations by La Cité culinary students and a local-products mini-market.
Grand Finale — Saturday, January 30
Rogers Centre Ottawa · 6:15 PM.
Chefs present their signature dishes alongside wines, cocktails, craft beer and local culinary creations. The evening includes auctions and live entertainment from the Steven Page trio, with Steven Page, Craig Northey and Kevin Fox, followed by the announcement of the championship results.
